Heidi Hadaway has been sculpting since she turned 40, after having worked in the advertising and graphic design industries. She is a self taught artist, and is currently working from her home studio in Northcliff, Johannesburg. Heidi’s aim in her works is to celebrate and showcase the beauty of the figurative form and to express emotion and the principles of life.

As an artist, Heidi enjoys doing likenesses and realistic works (mostly in the form of busts and statues) from commissions as well as more expressionistic textured sculpture. In recent works, she has been focusing on the transformative aspect of humans, ever-evolving and expanding our consciousness.
