Ceramic Matters was established in 1997. Anthony Harris and Gerhard Swart met at The Johannesburg Art College. Both their backgrounds are firmly rooted in Art, Printmaking and Ceramics and so forms a solid basis for the designing and manufacturing that takes place at Ceramic Matters. Their mission is to make people aware of the potential for design in ceramics.
